Heather is passionate about discovering how the church can be a source of practical and spiritual support to the immediate neighbourhood while exploring creative ways to connect with God through worship and service. She is also committed to ensuring that the church is a place where everyone is welcomed and valued, and faith is shared in ways that respect all abilities and exceptionalities. Heather and her husband John have three grown children and six grandchildren. They all love life in Muskoka.

Jody  has been part of the Knox church family for many years. Jody is the voice behind the telephone and the first face you’ll see when you enter Knox.

 

 

 

Music Director: Frances Balodis

Frances joins the Knox team with a vast knowledge of church music and choral leadership. Frances wrote the worldwide children’s curriculum Music for Young Children and has adjudicated at many music festivals. Many Muskokans may know Frances as the director of the Muskoka Men of Song choir and for her community involvement. She enjoys teaching music to all ages (presently her youngest student is 4 years old and her oldest is 89 years old!) Frances has a master’s degree in education from Acadia University, is an accredited DISC trainer, and has an ARCT in Piano teaching.
