June 6th – “Home” Communion Service
“Home” is a loaded word – it can evoke feelings of comfort for some or dread for others. In today’s service, we are challenged to discover ways to create inviting and safe homes for ALL people, in our churches and our communities.
We share communion in today’s service so please gather some bread and juice, crackers and tea, or whatever you have handy to join in the sacrament.
Music in today’s service is provided by:
Paul Gockel – Knox’s organist
Liz Brown – Knox’s harpist
Jim and Jean Strathdee
The virtual choir of First United Methodist Church, Houston
Our focus passage, Mark 3:19b-35, is read by Rev. Dr. Jim Thomson.
All music and videos in today’s service are possible through licensing with CCLI #11004513
