Feb. 25th – What are we UP to? part 2, and Scouting Sunday
What a wonderful time we had worshipping with the youth and leaders from 1st and 3rd Bracebridge Scouting this morning! We celebrated Scouting Sunday, learned a new song, enjoyed an amazing postlude from Frances, and also continued our "What are we UP to?" sermon series, examining Jesus' call to take UP our cross.
The focus passages in this service are Psalm 22:23-31 an Mark 8:31-38 and we discuss how Jesus has turned the cross from a symbol of humiliation, pain, and death, to a symbol of love, and urges us to do the same.
