Jan. 9th – Being Refuge
There are more displaced people in our world today than at any other time, according to figures from the United Nations. Today in our service, we discuss how we can BE REFUGE for those searching for home and we receive guidance and wisdom from Hassan and Berivan Khaled who arrived in Canada as Syrian refugees in 2017 and who just recently became Canadian citizens.
Our scripture passages are Isaiah 43:1-7 and Matthew 2:13-23.
