This morning, we begin a new sermon series called Anything But Ordinary. We'll be looking at Romans 8:26-39 while also finding guidance from the life of someone who was anything but ordinary - the Rev. Dr. Chris Vais, who was known to many in our congregation and community. The Romans passage was significant to Chris as he journeyed through the various stages of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. His faith, and his trust in God's Holy Spirit, allowed his anything-but-ordinary ministry to thrive and impact many, many others - including us today.
