July 5, 2020 – Soul Survivor, Week #3

Passage: Matthew 6:25-34

Bible Text: Matthew 6:25-34 | Preacher: Rev. Dr. Heather Malnick | Do you worry a lot? Especially now, during this time of pandemic? In Week 3 of our Soul Survivor sermon series, we discuss how to handle our worries, following Jesus’ words – echoed by musician Bobby McFerrin – ‘don’t worry, be happy.’

This is also a special Sunday for our Knox congregation as it was on the first Sunday in July, seven years ago, when we worshipped for the first time in our current church home. We remember and are thankful for our former minister, Rev. John Young, and the members of the Property Committee for making the move possible. We share some photos of that special day in today’s service. The first part of the service is recorded in the front yard of our church home and the noise from the street can be pretty loud, but the rest of the service is recorded indoors, where it is MUCH quieter.
