June 30th: Faces of our Faith sermon series
The story of midwives Shiphrah and Puah has been called the Bible's first recorded act of civil disobedience and nonviolent resistance. They said no to a power-hungry ruler, but yes to a God of justice. In today's service, we discuss how we are called to "birth" life and justice and peace, following the example of Shiphrah and Puah.
