Jan. 14th – Known and Called, Part 1
We begin a new sermon series - Known and Called - contemplating who we are and who we are to be. Being KNOWN relates to our identity (who we are), while being CALLED refers to our purpose (what we do). Today, we learn from the call of the very first disciples that often a life of faith resembles Show and Tell - with less emphasis on the showing and more on the telling.
Also in today's service, we celebrate the ordination of new Elder, Gail Parks.
